So interesting. Where I scrub perfusion primes the pump and passes us the lines when we are ready to cannulate.

Ours come primed in a plastic box - what’s in the box is sterile and the lines come out of it attached to the relevant pumps. Blue and red for aortic and venous pipes. We have 3 suckers that are yellow (floppy sucker) blue (root vent) and white (PA/LV vent/retrograde plegia) then a separate plegia line.

Pump sucker is green, vent blue! Also- I’ve never been told to tap on the filter and to cut aortic side first so thank you! 🩷

Mine is red for aortic, blue for venus, green for root, yellow for sucker, a separate smaller red striped for plegia. The lines come primed in a clear box, with the sterile part inside the box. Profusion will open the box to me and I get the tubes out.
