Hence, Regina got her 2 faced evil/dark villain side from her mom and it was a defense mechanism of a neglectful, abusive, and exploitative environment, and if things step out of line, June would just kill Regina, like imagine if Leslie Knope were evil, people would be in dead meat and Regina would have been one of them, which explains why Regina is evil. June is like the suburban stage parent of the 2000s.
