8 things you need to know about the Backstreet Boys Concert at the Sphere 1. You should SIT DOWN—ofc there will be songs where you just cannot resist the urge to stand up and dance…. And you should! But, the seats at the sphere vibrate in sync with many of the on screen visuals, and experiencing that cannot be missed. 2. You DO NOT need to get there early—doors open around 6:30 for an 8:00 show, but the concert didn’t actually start until around 8:45. We arrived a little after 7:30 and did not feel rushed at all nor have to stand in any lines. 3. Visit the BSB terminal at the Venetian in the morning before the show to take fun instagram pics and buy merch! The line is LONG but moves quicker than you think! It’s free and open to the public. 4. Plan ahead if you have MOTION SICKNESS—I saw a woman crying in the bathroom about 30 minutes into the show because the visuals were making her too sick :( The experience reminds me of those rides at Disney where you are riding through different environments, so if that’s a trigger for you, pack some dramamine. 5. Pack light—the sphere is cashless so all you really need is yourself! 6. During ‘The Call’ there is a ‘702’ number that scrolls across the screen. If you text that number, you get entered in to win a free personalized video from BSB. 7. DO NOT leave the show immediately. They leave the BSB logo up after the show and you can easily walk to the front of your section for unobstructed views and great photos. The bridge back to the Venetian is also crazy crowded so best to wait out the crowd. 8. There is a walking bridge from the Venetian to the Sphere so you don’t even have to go outside to get to the concert—though I suggest you still stop outside to see the BSB graphics on the outside of the Sphere.
