@lando.motion: Animate text along a path in under a minute 👇 I used to do this the hard way with shape layers. You don’t need that. A simple mask and Path Options do the trick. Here’s the quick recipe: Select your text layer and draw a mask with the Pen tool Open the dropdown Text > Path Options and set Path: (Your Mask) If needed, toggle Reverse Path to flip direction Animate First Margin (or Last Margin) to move the text along the path Make it Cleaner: • Draw the path on the text layer, not a separate shape • Turn on Perpendicular to Path so letters face the direction of travel • Use Force Alignment if characters look uneven or spaced weird • Smooth corners with the Convert Vertex tool for cleaner curves Save this for later and tag me if you try it 🙌 #aftereffects #motiondesign #motiongraphics #aetips #aftereffectstutorial
