she is an adult who smokes 🚬 of course her voice is going to sound different now. she also looks intoxicated on something to potentially numb the trauma from years of being manipulated, forced to perform and having her children used to emotionally blackmail her into performing or she wasnt allowed to see them. she was no doubt pushed to insanity.
