The reason why I brought Canada into this (not saying this place is perfect bcs trust this country is FLAWEDDDD) but MPs salary in Canada make about 15k/month and doctors make about 28k/month. In Indonesian MPs make about 20k/month and doctors in Indonesia make about (from) $600/month 😃

as a doctor who works in indonesia, yes we are underpaid & overworked!! not only that, our government doesn’t even bother with supplying adequate medical care for the people, especially public healthcare in rural areas. and yet here they are, they’re getting paid that much money per month, to do what exactly? 🤡

as a doctor it's a well known fact that we're very much underpaid in indonesia (it's sad ofc but we just kind of accept it?) , it's just these nonsensical subsidies for the DPR that is truly upsetting, while we healthcare workers barely get scraps for the amount of work demands
