I wasn’t handed shit 😂 I paid for college with loans, didn’t buy a house until I was married & almost 40, no vehicle under 10 years old until almost 40. Now I gotta live under this shit government.

yeah, that’s true; i had the army tent i lived in given to me when my home was repossessed by my boomer mother in law. I was given that one truck for 500.00 that smoked every color of the rainbow, until it blew up. I was given that 8x16’ fifth wheel i lived in while i built my own cabin. Yeah, given so much…. I feel almost guilty.

Yeah I was 3 when the Boomers voted Regan into office and began dimantling everything the Boomers were given to succeed. I’ve been working since 12, paid for college with student loans, bought my own car, took care of my kids without their help (I spent more time with my grandma than my mother who worked less than 20 hours a week), I am so tired of GenX being lumped in with the Boomers

Nothing was handed to me. I was kicked out my senior year of high school, that was after years of abuse, being locked in my room when I wasn’t tossed outside to fend for myself. I would love to know what was handed to me.
