Side note, you don’t talk slow. If someone told you that you do and made you self conscious about it, they lied. Your speaking speed is totally normal and nice ◡̈

Rainey | The Mom Edit 💕 :
Get teething tubes mama!! My 4 month old will sit and chew on those things for hours throughout the day. Also, have different “stations”. I have her activity mat, activity chair, rocking chair, and her bassinet with black and white cards!

It doesn’t stop until they are like 3. Every time you get a routine down, their temperment changes 😭

I just wear my littles pretty much all day 😂. They just wanna see and be a part of everything. I learned how to wear my last 2 on my back and it was THE BEST! They still love to be worn.

I remember being 17 with my son & at 4 months old i remember this exact struggle! I didn’t know anything about how to take care of a baby though so my grandma showed me a lot & she said to just give him his toys and put him in his playpen so I did! It made him so independent and saved me from going crazy lol my son grew up to be independent, by the time he was in kindergarten we didn’t need to ALWAYS keep an eye on him because he wasn’t getting into things just simply playing with his toys and learning😁 he’s a babysitters dream😂

They have a massive developmental leap around 4 months! It can be exhausting mixed with the sleep regression. Baby wearing is how I survived the first 6 months. Once mine could sit he was good to go. FOMO baby since day 1. 🤣

I feel like this just repeats itself. We will have good months and just bad. The Wonder app really has shown me what their going through and things to do with our babies for their ages

4 months is WILD, the sleep regression, teething, wanting to move on their own but they can’t, the boredom, and as soon as I thought “well at least my hair didnt totally fall out!” I started losing most of my hair 😭 honesty, sometimes I just had to let her be bored. Shuffling toys out helped TONS, she got more excited when we changed out what’s available to her, and she would actually be immersed in an activity so I could do things like brush my hair lol

The door jumper , swing , tummy time , tv , play , baby wearing , walks outside . I was super obsessed. Looking back my son did cry a lot around this age . When I got overstimulated we went outside . It’s okay . My son is gunna be four in two days and I’m pregnant with a girl

Girl this is the easiest age I promise you ! When they hit 2 terrible twos are a real thing and than they become mean and throws face at your face and it’s just so difficult!

I suggest babywearing! They’ve realized the world is their oyster and just want to see everything that’s going on. Newborns are easy because they’ll just lay there. Now theyve discovered their hands and how to use them, everything is exciting for them!

Me too girl. I just have like 4 stations. When he gets tired of them I eventually have the time to just sit with him practicing his rolling and getting ready to crawl movements. Then I finish w a story. Prop him up in his boppy and let him play w my hair. I like to practice safe sleeping but when he got a bit bigger I let him sleep with me when he woke up in the middle of the night or for feedings. Now, it takes like 30 minutes of rocking him placing him in the bassinet and doing that over n over until he understands he’s there to stay😭 he literally screams at me no tears just yelling😂

I put cushions around the edges of the bed (on it so he doesn’t fall) then sit next to him , give him toys and let him roll around playing, squealing and whatever he wants. He’s very quickly learned to come to me himself when he wants snuggles, uppies, reassurance or is done. The other day he kept bonking his head on the wall and was screeching in anger, but i just reassured him until he figured out how to back away lol he is a very happy, well rounded baby who communicates beautifully when he needs something.

Omg yes. Newborn wasn’t as bad as 3.5-5ish months. They have to learn their sleep cycle and it was BRUTAL. I see you and you aren’t crazy or alone. 4 month regression was so tough. You are AMAZING and you got this 💜💜💜💜

the best advise i ever got was to take them outside or in the water, even just a tray of water on the floor (you can clean it it’s waterrr)
