Similar happened to me at WVU. They tried to railroad me at the end of freshman yr with a conduct meeting essentially to determine if I’d be expelled/suspended. If I never got a lawyer who helped me finesse out the situation, I’d have an expulsion on my transcript which would have derailed my whole life.

I tell my kids if they ever have to get since the principal’s office, they have to tell the principal to call me because they will not be talking to them. if you are in any conflict, the greatest thing you can be is silent.
