This is based on the state regulations not cvs. Some of the states that cannot vaccinate until the CDC issues its recommendations allow for minute clinic to vaccinate. The reason these select states cannot, is again, due to state regulations that do not allow for pharmacy vaccination pursuant to the FDA approval alone and require the CDC\ACIP official recommendations.

As the full time carer of my sick, elderly mother was so glad that this morning I was able to schedule appointments for us both to get our boosters. Let’s just hope nothing goes (even more) wacky in the next week so we can actually get them. 🤞🏼

I talked to a father recently whose infant is due for their 3rd Covid shot. He was thinking about eaiting a month. I told him if he did that he might not be able to get it. He got the shot.
