It's has nothing to do with pay, respect, attention, or brown nosing to the boss. Some of us just enjoy a clean cab. And that's a problem..? More power to ya if you can work in a cab that has an inch of dirt on the floor, week old spit bottles in the cup holders, grease on the switches, and dirty windows. But some of us just feel better when we're in a clean space. A clean cab puts me in a good mood.
