For everyone asking where the dogs are — they’re near Glacier Family Foods in South Browning, Montana. The first time I passed through, I only saw about four dogs. But just a few days later, there were over twenty. Some were being chased by locals in trucks, while others wandered aimlessly, clearly hungry and scared. Then one local approached me in tears, grateful the dogs were being fed, and explained that most of them were abandoned by people in the area who no longer care for them.

Hello! Though this is not the area in Montana I rescue from, it is a crisis across all the reservations in Montana. 😭 Many of us rescues are solely volunteer based with limited resources to try to help SO MANY dogs. If you could please spread the word to help us get more support out here in these rural areas it would be so appreciated. 🥺

As someone who asked about these dogs while passing through Browning, unfortunately they are products of reservation dog accidental litters 😞 I told the gas station clerk I was about to take one and she said “please do”😫
