Good idea, but I wouldn’t use one piece of tape. I would use three so when you re-align it like everyone else is more accurate

As a master tile mechanic of 33 years, A genius would of known that there would have to have pitched/sloped tiles to the drian in order for a drain to work properly...plumbing was invented by the Roman's around 500 bc, pitched to the drain is nothing new. You know, like templates aren't 🤣🤣🤣
