I got a Covid shot last month because I was going to fly on an airplane. This summer and last most everyone I knew that had flown on an airplane got Covid.

I agree with your point of view, but other implementations should have been put in place so that the “emergency use” mandate could be taken away. Covid may still be out there, however it is no longer an emergency

Dr , I already am unable to schedule Covid boosters for my children now …I tried scheduling boosters and was unable to :/ paying 400 out of pocket for 2 kids is really hard . We as parents want the vaccine as well . I feel trapped. We WANT access to the vaccine , but I fear we will not be allowed to have it ! Working in a hospital setting / w pts makes it more difficult . I am worried they will come for flu shots etc now ! So wrong ! 😭

We also need to remember that death is not the only bad outcome from Covid. Long-term consequences have a big impact on a lot of people and we don’t even really understand the extent of them. SARS-CoV-2 affects many more systems than just the respiratory system. Post-COVID clotting disorders, neurological symptoms, cardiac symptoms, and a host of other things are still very much a risk, even with mild disease.

You forgot to mention wearing a mask reduces your risk of infection. You can still get infected despite vaccination- vaccines just reduce overall risk of severe disease. Long covid can happen regardless
