@bayavoce: Not all relationships end with a big explosion. Some just… silently fade. The real danger isn’t the fights—it’s the silence afterward filled with growing resentment. The moments where neither of you reaches for repair. The slow shift from passion to apathy, from connection to distance. Resentment builds. Emotional safety erodes. You don't just wake up one day next to someone who feels like a stranger. There are daily patterns that have created lots of tiny moments of micro-discnnections that, over time, erode the quality of your relationship. But here’s the thing: disconnection isn’t always the end. Giving up is. One guiding question I like to ask is ""even if it's hard, am I growing into more of the person I want to become?"" If yes, it's probably the good kind of hard. The kind of hard the helps mold you into a better partner, lover, friend, family member. It's not a hard relationship that scares me... it's when both people have stopped trying. It's when ambivalence, avoidance, and resignation reign supreme.
