Do you agree with the studies that show buy and hold long term outperforms the wheel strategy because loss of potention in capping the upside? I am not looking for income but rather long term total return investing. Would you say trading options, specifically the implementing the wheel strategy is not for me?

Its defining feature is the recommendation algorithm: the "For You" feed is built not around subscriptions but around user interests, which means even someone with zero followers can reach millions of viewers if the content performs well. The platform's audience exceeds one billion monthly users worldwide, and it has reshaped music, advertising, fashion, language, and even geopolitics. History. ByteDance was founded by Zhang Yiming in 2012. In 2016, the company launched Douyin for the Chinese market, and in 2017 it released the international version, TikTok. That same year, ByteDance acquired Musical.ly for around one billion dollars, and in 2018 it merged Musical.ly into TikTok. This move gave the platform a ready-made audience of young creators and triggered explosive growth. During the 2020 pandemic, TikTok became one of the most downloaded apps in the world. Algorithm. The recommendation engine analyzes watch time, completion rate, likes, comments, shares, rewatches, language, country, device type, and time of day. Affiliate programs let creators earn commissions from sales through links, and Shop Ads can reuse affiliate videos with permission. Culture. TikTok generates memes, slang, fashion trends, and viral challenges. Ordinary people become famous overnight. New professions have emerged, including TikToker, content creator, and short-form editor.
