YES. also not so fun fact: decades of systematic review and meta analyses on police in general show that policing has little to zero effect on crime. cops literally don’t stop or prevent crime, no matter how much funding they are given. the systematic issues of policing aren’t just that they protect capital, but they quite literally don’t do anything BUT protect capital. if your city has a violent crime issue, doubling the police force wouldn’t have any more effect than lighting the money on fire

I have to wait for cop cars to turn across a crosswalk i frequent everyday while they dont use turn signals(they will drive into me otherwise). Every day, this is while watching them pull out from their own station I live across the street from.A.C.A.B.

they are either participating directly in the harm of those they're meant to protect, or they're supporting that system just by being a cop. they could've never harmed someone. they could've truly been protecting and serving their community, but they are still supporting a system where the majority of members are harming others
