@scribblemouth_: 🤔💡The delayed choice quantum eraser! It challenges our understanding of reality by demonstrating that at quantum levels, particles don’t act intuitively at all!! #education #Science #facts #mystery #universe
the more I learn about physics the more I believe we are in a simulation

the first claim is fundimentally wrong. The photons have both wave and particle characteristics. When the double slit experiment shows an interference pattern, the photons are acting like a wave. In the other scenario, they are acting like a particle. But this change doesn't happen because the universe "knows" when our conscience is observing the photons, rather its the way we observe the photons that change their properties. This is described in heisenberg's uncertainty principle: it is impossible to observe a particle, because in doing so (with light, magnets or any other detection mechanism) you are, in a way, changing the particle. In simple words, the photons, after smashing into said detector, "become" particles (and not waves), producing the bullet-like results.

I have a pair of socks.
when I put one on my left foot, the other instantly becomes the right sock, even if you seperate the pair and send one to the other side of the universe, the moment I put one on my foot the other instantly becomes whichever foot doesn't have a sock.
that's quantum entanglement

I just want to explain that the photon doesn't magically know that someone is looking at it and moves differently it's part of the expirmant showing that even just trying to observe or learn anything about particals in quantum mechanics will effect them because of the extremely small scales that just getting the information will effect it that's a common mistake that many science enthusiasts such as me made till I found out

No, the delayed choice quantum eraser experiment does not suggest that the universe knows the future or can change the past. This is a common misinterpretation of the experiment's findings.
The experiment, like many in quantum mechanics, highlights the non-intuitive nature of quantum reality. It demonstrates that the act of measurement plays a crucial role in determining the properties of particles, even seemingly after the particles have passed through a certain point. However, this doesn't imply retrocausality (changing the past) or precognition (knowing the future).
