Super is not a scam - it is just a vehicle to invest in essentially the share mkt. I cancelled the life insurance 16 years ago, and actively made choices in which asset classes and % I wanted the money invested - I did very well out of it - now retired- pulling in a pension of $2K per week Tax FREE plus have an investment property to sell in due course if I ever need too, which I should have bought within the super vehicle. The share mkt has done very well over the last 3 years

I changed from a high fee fund (AMP 😁) to an industry fund and it’s performing very well at the moment, people think it’s too hard and stay in crap funds like AMP 😁
