I made this video a year ago to bring awareness to postpartum depression. I’m sharing it again for Suicide Prevention Awareness Month because the message still matters. Sometimes the person who needs someone the most is still getting up every morning. Still taking care of their kids. Still answering texts. Still laughing. Still posting. Still saying “I’m fine.” Surviving doesn’t always look like surviving. Check on the moms who seem like they have it all together. Check on your strong friend. Check on the person who hasn’t asked for help—because sometimes the people fighting the hardest battles have gotten really good at looking okay.
