Do you mix tallow and lard for soap??? If so why? I find tallow makes a harder bar but would be cheaper and easier if I could mix!

We did alot of research on this and have switched to lard, I had no idea that vegetable shortening was so bad for you

quit making pie crusts with shortening and switched to the lard recipe I found and only put crust in can stand.
