I honestly never really understood it, but once I hit a conscious state of being, I have always cried on my birthday for something whether it was a disappointment of some sorts or I was just overwhelmed by joy and love and support

Yes I do, in private though - generally because someone disappoints me on my day. I tend to have expectations for someone to show me attention or celebrate me, when they don’t I get upset. It really is ridiculous!
