@mattwalterfit: Meal prep is only hard if you make it hard These are some simple rules I follow whenever I’m making meals: 1. Do I enjoy eating these foods If you don’t enjoy the foods you eat it doesn’t matter how “healthy” they might be. You won’t be able to stick to them long term. 2. Do these foods align with my goals, make me feel good and help me progress? What you eat is what fuels you at the end of the day. If there’s foods you eat that don’t sit well or don’t agree with you then you might want to think about switching it up. I’m only willing to have foods that make me feel my absolute best. 3. Can I buy/cook these meals in bulk Being able to buy in bulk and cook in bulk will cut down on overall cost and time. If you are cooking every one of your meals separately you are wasting a lot of time. Finding foods that are easy to make and can be prepped all at once is going to be the best for staying consistent. 4. Do these meals with minimal prep time? You don’t want to be spending anymore time in the kitchen then you have to. Don’t need to do anything fancy (unless you want too) it all goes to the same place.
