Have him checked for ADD/ADHD. Our oldest did something similar, but big outburst is one of them with all the emotions

Can I ask if he is only like this toward you? My son was like this toward me when he was young and his dad and I were divorcing. His doctor told me it's because he felt safe with me so he let his emotions out on me, as unfair as it seems.

River started all that around age 4, and we didn’t medicate it till he hit second grade and couldn’t even read and was on a kindergarten level. He was also diagnosed with a mood disorder. But the school can help get evaluations done. Prayers for you!!

My son has ADHD and has big emotions, but not anger. However my god son also has ADHD and has big emotions and his outburst is anger! Every child is different. I would speak with your pediatrician about all the possibilities as start looking into ADD/ADHD. My son really went through a change with starting school. If you have any question reach out I’ll try and answer the best of my abilities ❤️You are an amazing mom remember that!

Hey dear, I am not a mother and can't suggest much, but I can see you're struggling a lot. Please be sure to care for yourself as much as you can too, being a modern mom is so difficult.

Play therapy was suggested to me by my doctor when we started having issues with behavior (also a huge potty training issue). It can help him learn different coping skills and how to express his emotions and the kids seem to love it (at least at mine) as it just feel like you are playing! Hope things get better for you both.

Hey mama, I have a wild one too. Very difficult. He is 8 now but I struggled the most when he was 6. I put off getting a diagnoses of ADHD and meds for a looong time cuz I was so worried it would make him a zombie and not be himself anymore (outside of his bad behavior and outbursts) and this child is like night and day when he is medicated. He is still a wild child but I can see him have control over his choices and actions and emotions now. Before he literally could not help it, he would get so upset after being punished for his behavior and say things like I dont know why I make these bad choices and cry. That is a thing of the past after medication

A few months ago I took my son to a therapist that specialized in children with ADHD and other behavior disorders. Not only did he enjoy going but it helped him so much. He hasn't been having those behaviors anymore and he calms himself down when he gets upset.
