idk I just find it hard to believe that people who met when they were teenagers and were compatible then have either not grown and changed as people, or against all odds somehow managed to still align through growing and changing. It doesn't seem likely without someone compromising on their authenticity.

Literally. My husband and I are 6 years in. Started at 17/18. Anytime I think of someone else I’m like nah. My man is perfect for me. I would just be thinking about him if I was with someone else like “damn I messed up”. 1 month in I told him I’m uninterested and then felt like I made the biggest mistake ever and told him I was wrong and I’m sorry. Not making that mistake again

met my husband at 18, he was 20. we're 27 and 30 now with 2 kids, 3 dogs, and a cat. he's the perfect man and I wouldn't trade meeting him that early in life for literally anything. have we had our extreme moments where we probably should've broke up? yeah but we WANTED to make it work and by the grace of whatever God y'all believe in, we have both made an effort to make our relationship better and I seriously wouldn't trade it for anything. he is such an amazing father and husband.

I got VERY lucky with my husband. Met him a week before my 16th birthday. He noticed me walking with my friends at school and it took him several weeks to get the courage to come up and talk to me. 8 years later and he knows everything about me and we both have always wanted the same things in life and have the same expectations and standards which absolutely helps a lot. We live very similar lifestyles where we enjoy staying in and gaming or reading, we don’t like to party and neither one of us drink or take part in recreational drugs. We really just lucked out. I can’t imagine starting over and trying to find someone as compatible.
