My Grandmother's nursing home takes all the residents who want to go, to the local humane society weekly. It is absolutely precious. ❤️They have even adopted a couple animals for the home as well.

I wish they did this at more assisted living facilities. Animals are so important to people and they help and heal in ways we can’t comprehend.

I used to work with therapy dogs and so many of these homes make their residents give up their pets when they enter. I’m sure this was such an awesome experience for them!
