@ben.trinh: What’s it like to have parents from different cultures? #IKEApartner. My family is Chinese and Vietnamese, and my wife’s family is Puerto Rican and Black. We know it’s important for our daughter to celebrate her diverse backgrounds, and there’s no better way to do it than with food. That’s why we’re proud to partner with IKEA to pass down recipes that represent our different cultures. Before getting started, we used the table cloth as a creative blank canvas where the three of us could doodle and make something we’ll keep and remember. Today, I’m making dumplings and my wife is making empanadas. Although our foods may taste different, how we make them is actually pretty similar. Which, in a beautiful way, is pretty symbolic, right?
