My birth plan was not dying the first time around this second time it remains the same just adding delayed cord clamping and no eye ointment and hep b .

I’ve never heard that unmendicstef births and tearing deal… I was unmedicated and definitely tore it didn’t hurt though 😅 my birth got very complicated though my recovery was the best it could have been and I think that’s all due to being unmedicated!

I was pretty open for my first since I didn’t know what to expect and it was awful🙃🙃 my birth plan now is 1. Don’t die or feel like I’m going to die (get epidural if I think im headed down that road) 2. Braid my hair 3. Try and be more present/ have fun??

I had an unmedicated birth and tore so bad! My SIL had an epidural and didn’t at all! My birth plan with baby number 2 is latching right away and not dying. The L&D nurse told me there was no need to try latching until the LC could come in and I think that’s why we had such a hard time nursing

My water broke at 37 wks and I didn’t have my daughter until 48 hours later - if I didn’t have midwives I would have been told I needed a C-section 🙃

Currently pregnant with my 3rd and our last pregnancy was a month apart 🥹 I will say I unintentionally had a unmedicated birth with my second and it was a crazy but amazing experience..wishing you the best!💕🫶🏻

This is so true! I’m happy I didn’t have much of a birth plan the first time around because after 18 hours of labor and 3 hours pushing it ended with a c-section so that’s not what I was expecting at all! There is just so much unknown

My birth plan for my 1st was a mile long, then changed dramatically when I had to schedule an induction due to being high risk and nothing went to plan besides have a healthy baby. If we have another it’s 1.) braid my hair before going in and 2.) get an epidural.

My only plan with baby number two is not to die or end up traumatized like I did with my first!!! My first I had the most detailed specific birth plan and I got absolutely not one single thing on it lmfao, birth is genuinely so unpredictable.

I had an unplanned unmedicated birth with my first and it was so empowering. My water broke and he came in 45 mins no time for epidural! My pp experience was wonderful. I am pregnant with #2 with no birth plan, just an open mind and to take it as it comes. I'm excited to see how it works out! 💗

having a doula saved me. I did have a homebirth, but regardless where/how you birth, having a doula is sooo important. Tell her what you want, and she’ll help accomplish it. Then you don’t have to stress about it!!

My doctor tried pushing me to have a birth plan with my first but my mom (who had 4 kids) told me not to have a strict plan because it will never go according to plan. It was so relaxed each time and I didn’t hate any of the 4 births

So good to not have a set plan. I had a whole idea of how I wanted my labor, birth, and postpartum to go & 2 weeks before I gave birth my husband broke his elbow. Needless to say everything changed lol
