Full recipes for all three here! 🍁🍂 Puff pastry wrapped apples: - three apples - 2 sheets of puff pastry - Cut your apple into even slices and then make a hole in the middle, cutting the core out - Mix sugar and cinnamon and coat your apple on both sides - Cut your puff pastry into even strips and wrap around the apple When I did this, I went way too loose! So I definitely recommend wrapping tighter and also covering more of the apple up. It will taste amazing regardless of how you wrap it, I just think it would look cuter if you do it tighter. - add some egg wash on top, more cinnamon and sugar - And bake at 425 until golden brown! About 15 minutes Mini pumpkin pies: - 15 oz can of pumpkin pie filling (I used Libby’s brand and used half of the 30oz can) - 1 large egg - A little less than 1/2 a cup of heavy cream or evaporated milk - 2 sheets of premade pie crust - Grease you pan and add your pie crust circles and add your filling - I baked at 400 for 15-20 minutes, but just keep an eye on them and they’re done when the filling is set and the crust is golden brown. - I added whipped cream but wait until they’re cool or it will melt like mine did haha Mini apple pies: - 1/4 cup of butter - 2 cups of apples, peeled and chopped - 1/2 a cup of brown sugar - 1 tsp cinnamon (I ended up added a bit more) - Cook on medium heat - Mix 1/2tbs of cornstarch with 1tbs of water, mix it and then add it to the filling. This will help it thicken. - About 1/2 tsp of lemon juice - Feel free to use regular granulated sugar as well or even add some vanilla extract! - I’ve noticed that if my apples are more or less juicy, it affects how much cornstarch I need to get the consistency right. - I used premade pie crust and cut circles and strips, then cut the ends off the strips - Add egg wash and bake at 350 until they’re golden brown! About 15 minutes #fall #Recipe #baking #dessert #thanksgiving
