I’ve heard the rusty blocks are better something about being “seasoned” as the old timers would say they would let the blocks rust up then deck and bore em and they were apparently better

2 bolts are stronger than 4 bolts. They have thicker walls. Then you can put 4 bolt main caps on them and they will be stronger.
