What’s funny is that everyone keeps posting these little tricks and don’t think that the Airlines are going to catch wind. Pretty soon personal items will be the only thing we can take with us on the plane without a fee.

Won’t this make the suit case weigh more? also, what if your bag is randomly picked to be searched and they open it and see all these sealed bags?? Will they make you open them so they can search ? Can you bring the vacuum?

I love the idea for the clothes part of it. But unfortunately, you cannot take your make up perfume hairspray, blow dryers, curling irons, flat irons with you. So what do you do about that part of it?

I vacuumed mine and was still 3 lbs over. I'm naturally an overpacker. I had to take 2 pair of shoes out of my suitcase.

Beware ! Some airlines like Air France have a weight requirement for your carry-on items. It’s 12 kg or about 25 pounds.

Love this for you! But please make sure you can lift it into the overhead bin because we Flight Attendants, respectfully, will not be able to help for our safety. Please also think of others safety as well if you're looking to get help to lift it.

It doesn't matter how much can force into a carry on. We should respect the weigh limit. We are climbing into an aircraft that will miles of the ground and can only carry so much.
