and if I happened to want to buy 1 thing in the beauty section I already had yo wait in line forever to get it unlocked, and then go to its own register. I've just stopped going to Walmart at this point its ridiculous

I'm more annoyed at things like makeup, nail polish, or candles are in lock up. When you finally get someone, they'll get it out for you and escort you to the checkout. It's not like I was ready to checkout yet. So far mine hasn't been obnoxious about their receipts to my knowledge.

You're also not legally obligated at a Walmart. They cannot force you to show them and they cannot stop you if you refuse. The only time youre required is at membership stores like Costco, BJs, Sam's Club etc...
