The order says “rhodolite garnet” when you show the order online. This is the color of rhodolite. You want the deep red, which is a garnet also. Rhodolite means that range of color of red to red pink to red purple. Call and ask about what options they could assist with! Easy mistake. I work in jewlery and have my jewelry education in gemstones and this is an easy misunderstanding to make!

i think it is the right one. the purple one is super purple. i think the one online is edited to be a deeper red. i have blue topaz pieces and they sometimes look aquamarine in certain lightings.

Garnets come in differant shades. There are Rhodalite Garnets that look like what she has (purplish red) and Mozambique garnets that look more red and like the garnet most people know. This is definitely not an amethyst. They may have just used a Rhodalite garnet.
