@abbeyyung: 1. Bond repair treatments work by penetrating your hair fiber to repair damage. In order for them to be able to penetrate and deliver that repair, your hair needs to be wet. Applying bond repair treatments like K18, Olaplex, Redken, L’Oreal and Garnier on dry hair like a “mask” is just wasting your money. These products aren’t designed to deeply condition your hair like a mask is, they’re designed to strengthen and repair. So applying to dry hair will not only prevent you from getting the best of those repair benefits, it won’t give you meaningful conditioning benefits either. 2. There are absolutely products you can use (like deep cleaning shampoos) and techniques you can practice (like taking your time with shampoo to make sure you’re thoroughly cleansing) to better care for an oily scalp. But the reason why those things improve how oily your scalp looks is because they effectively remove existing oil- not because they influence the amount of oil your body produces. That is controlled by factors like age, genetics and hormones. Not how often you wash your hair. 3. This idea that drugstore products give you “fake” or “temporary” results only to cause damage in the long run is just a flat out lie. This isn’t how haircare works. You can find products that give you amazing, real results at any price point. The key is just to find what works best for your scalp + hair. #healthyhair #HairCareTips #hairgrowth #hairjourney

I stopped going to my old salon because they kept pushing their hair care on me. I went back to Pantene and it’s made my hair look so much better.

I’ve started my hair journey about 8 months ago and I’ve been shedding a lot of short hair (1-8cm) the past couple of weeks. About 50% is short hair. Why?!?!?

Can you layer 2 products into your hair at the same time? Like the oleplex blow dry mist and their oil?

I’m having a big trouble with one of my daughter’s hair. She has very fine hair, but a lot of it. No matter what we used to wash it rather we blow dry it or not it’s always greasy and smells like mildew. I have done a clarifying treatment. I have done everything..

Please I am so desperate for some products that help prevent frizz in a super humid climate because my hair is not doing well. I have moved to a new area where it rains a lot more than I am used to and my hair need something to help it not be frizzy nor loose its shape please.
