This is very frustrating to me that insurance isn’t accepted cuz then to me it’s not affordable and the cost of insurance is already crazy. This just puts me in the mindset that the therapy just wants to be able to charge way too much for their services.

If an out of network doctor prescribes a medication that’s not on the formulary, it still wouldn’t be covered by insurance without paperwork so this logic doesn’t track for the medication side of things.

Imagine going to school for YEARS just to be told what you can or can’t do at YOUR job. Why, as a doc, would I be in a network that won’t allow me to properly treat patients. The doctor isn’t the problem, INSURANCE IS!
