So here's what you need to know. Several countries have now stopped, essentially suspended, postal services, whether from the European Union or Mexico, over a Donald Trump plan to end an exemption called de minimis exemption, which essentially eliminates tariff duties on low value items under $800. And now today, according to Politico, Mexico is the latest country. And just in the past year, Customs and Border Patrol says that over 1.3 billion packages actually came into the United States under this exemption. That's over $60 billion worth of goods. And so now Mexico's government's saying, you know, we're not going to send packages to the United States and either postal services in the European Union and elsewhere, until at least they get more information about what the heck is happening.
