It’s so sad to think there are people who can still smile knowing the money they earn is built on the struggles, tears, and sacrifices of others. How can they still rest at night, thinking that there are families who go hungry, children who lose their dreams, and lives broken just so they can live in comfort? How can they still celebrate their victories, knowing those victories were carved out of someone else’s suffering? How can they still walk proudly, when the ground beneath their feet is paved with injustice?
