If everything is about power, then you cannot truly love. Nietzche was so steeped in patriarchy and heteronormative white supremacy that he cannot understand love outside of these parameters. And it shows.

For me, this actually deepens the sacredness of love rather than diminishing it. If love is the meeting place of souls, it must also be the meeting place of shadow. Real love asks us to witness not only the tenderness but also the darker currents .. the will to possess, the fear of loss, the vulnerability that can make us lash out. Nietzsche, in his way, is calling out that honesty: love elevates, but it also tests, wounds, and transforms. Love your content so much. I love examining philosophy and our interpretations of it. Nietzsche is sometimes misunderstood.

His work was really a true reflection of the psyche of men. He was self aware enough to understand and see the truth (even the difficult ones) of his relationship to life. Which is very much reflected in the understanding of the psyche. The psyche of women and their relationship to life is quite different although has it's own difficult truths to bear. There just aren't enough examples present when men like Nietzche are seen as some defining authority on such subjects. They are one representation of a very incomplete understanding of humanity and it's relationship to the world.

Love is unconditional, once we add boundaries and ego it becomes a decease... on top of that, the feelings humans perceive as love is simply a chemical reaction a "reward" for keeping the species alive. Love is far beyond that.....
