Still have to go to a range! A bore site just gets you in the ballpark and saves you from wasting a Mags worth of bullets. It however doesn’t account for drop the further your out, thus still having to to fine tune at a range

always remember to confirm your zero! Those lasers are okay for getting you in the ballpark but I would only use them for sighting in at 25, 36 or 50 yards at max. anything beyond that and you are going to run into issues with bullet drop

Grip & mechanics are the main issue with utilizing red dots properly. Sighting them in is easy. Distance sighted doesn't matter because it's what you want it to be, but it must be verified on a target at that distance. Getting the dot to go straight up then straight back down to your original point of aim is the hard part. Keeping the dot in the window is the goal.

They’re cool I have one (not this one) but you can’t beat a day at the range to confirm your zero brother. Nonetheless it’s a good tool to have to get as close to zero as possible.

honestly these do help if you got a new dot that's waay off, but ultimately you'll still need to find tune after. but yes these can be helpful.
