it's actually extremely gentle. This instance the stolen Cruz driver got grappled at high speed then slowed to a stop before repeatedly forcing the car back and forth until it's rear end fully separated at about 20mph maybe less. If you get grappled it's because they don't want to pay for unnecessary destruction/ do anymore paperwork. There are departments with FAQUE money that will send your car into the stratosphere though.

this one the police slowed the car safety to a stop and then the thief backed up and took off 3 times and on the 3rd time it ripped the axle out.

I saw the video for this, they roped his rear tire & slammed on their brakes & got him to a complete stop… Then the dude put his car in reverse & kept giving himself slack & then flooring it in drive until like the 3 try when it ended up ripping his whole rear axel & tires off the car lol 😂 these ropes are strong & way safer than the PIT maneuver they’d normally try to stop suspects…
