he doesn’t call with me much anymore and when he does we either argue or just say the minimum, it kills me. it makes my heart ache so bad. i’ve noticed recently that whenever we have conflict he just brushes it off with a quick “ok then” and even “idk what you want me to say/do”, that’s so new to me. he’s always been the type to hear me out and listen and tell me it’ll be okay. he used to ask how he could fix stuff. that’s not the case now, and i’m just so worried because he’s so important to me. i do still think he loves me, but we’ve changed so much and just seeing it unfold and feeling basically helpless genuinely puts me in such a bad place. i know relationships aren’t perfect but him and i have promised to always try, to always be there no matter what. he almost always calls with friends now, and when we’re not hanging out our conversations are just so minimal. it hurts because i give him the benefit of the doubt, maybe he is trying to his best abilities. but even then wouldn’t those same abilities correlate to the way he acted in the beginning? i’m exhausted and feel so depressed

i feel like i should fade away from him and let him be with his friends, he doesn’t laugh like that with ME. i’m just a spectator watching them have fun, i get so jealous of them. i’m just there. i’ll genuinely let him have his fun and not get in the way because i know he’d be happier without me.
