Tell your doctor immediately that you are itchy. During my pregnancy I was itchy all the time, mostly it was because of stretching, but when you are in the hospital room in labor the itching INTENSIFIES and it's probably the most unbareably uncomfortable you'll ever feel

If the itching continues tell your obgyn to check for ICP it’s better to be safe than sorry! Even if you don’t think you have it still check to see!

Mention your itchiness to your OB! I had choleastasis my last pregnancy and it can be serious!! I had to be monitored multiple times a week and on meds 3 times a day

i get extremely itchy too after my showers but only happens when i’m pregnant 😭 doesn’t happen any other time

If the itching continues, and tends to be worse at night, especially on your hands and feet- it could be ICP- Intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy. Let your doctors know and they can check your liver/bile levels through blood work.

If the itch is bothersome you could have cholestasis it can happen in pregnancy and it can make you itch terribly! I had it with my last and it was miserable
