I've tried for years to get a hysterectomy cuz of A LOT of female medical problems. I flat lined with my youngest, Dr said absolutely no more & the insurance denied me getting mine tied at the time.

My husband was able to get a vasectomy after our son was born. I nearly died. The insurance said no and so did my doctor. My husband had no issues.
