When that is happening, if you have something of theirs like, even if it's just a sock or something that smells like them, you can put it with him in his dog bed and it can help him calm down and be more relaxed while they're sleeping. I would get an extra receiving blanket and put it in with them and get it smelling like them and then put it with the dog.
