If the curtains were drawn closed👇🏽 Not to sound morbid, but I think about death quite a lot. We all take so many things for granted, but above all is our ability to be grateful at all. Being young makes it hard to imagine dying, particularly when you’ve had little experience with it in your own life. But reality is that anyone could be walking around within the last few minutes of their lives and not know it. What if you had a chance to reflect? You knew time was up, but you had a little time to sit back and think about your life to that point? Are you grateful for the things you had, the chances you took, the effort you put in? Or are you regretful of the things you lacked, the chances you hid from, the effort you withheld? There are several different ways to get a very real understanding of if the life you are currently living is the one you should be. One of them is to consider if this is all you got, aside from wanting more (we all do) - are you good with so far? Teddy Roosevelt put it best, that’s why he’s featured as the last slide. A lot of life’s joy can be placed on things we had, things we finished. But I can tell you from experience - striving for what is right, what is true - in and of itself, is satisfaction beyond those that never try will ever know. So… Get after it - before it’s too late.
