@lunasilverx_: This is a super shallow dive into the world of monogamy and non monogamy. It’s so hard to discuss the good and the bad of it, as it’s such a subjective experience for each individual. I do have a general opinion that while there is no singular way to do non monogamy, the most important thing for me is kindness, respect and care. And sometimes this requires thinking beyond your needs and thinking of your partner’s needs. I think too much discourse on s e gg s positivity and “ethical” non monogamy focuses on the individual and their desires. I think this discourse could use a reminder about kindness and community. Yes our desires are important, but so are the feelings of people in our lives that we care about. Your desires do not exist in a vacuum. Do not move in ways that harm others, even if it might seem like a fun thing to do for you. Should I delve deeper into aspect?
