I had MCAS and you are correct - mycotoxins were defunitely a factor. I lived in a moldy victorian flat. Moving did not cure the MCAS but it allowed me to start healing. But the main thing, and I believe the most important thing, was that I started a twice daily practice of skilled relaxation. I think that helped me more than any other change. It took a long time before I was completely symptom-free, but once I started the meditation I started to feel better so rapidly.

There is no cure for my MCAS. My EDS is the cause & cannot be cured since it is genetic. When connective tissue is faulty, mast cells which are abundant in connective tissue go haywire. Mast cells also surround nerves, which is why so many with MCAS also have POTS which is caused by the autonomic nervous system. You may have found YOUR cure, but for some there is no cure, only management.
