@sugarspiceddreams: soft pumpkin spice donuts 🤎 these were so good !! how to make : ½ cup warm milk (120 ml) 4 tbsp brown sugar (50g) 1 egg + 1 egg yolk 1 cup pumpkin puree (240g) ¼ cup melted butter (57 g) 3 - 3 ¼ cups all-purpose flour (360-390 g) ½ tsp salt 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon (4 g) 1/4 tsp nutmeg 1/4 tsp all spice ( you can also use pumpkin spice ) 2 1/4 tsp yeast (7 g) in a bowl mix your milk, sugar and yeast and let sit for 5 minutes( or until frothy). next add in your butter, pumpkin and eggs. mix until combined, knead in your dry ingredients and continue kneading until a smooth dough ball forms. ( if you have trouble kneading try not to add too much flour, instead oil your workplace & your hands with olive oil and try kneading, or let the dough rest for 10 minutes and try again). let your dough rest in an oiled bowl covered for an hour ( or until doubled in size. ) roll out your dough and cut out your donut shapes. ( i used a big cup & a piping tip for the middle ). place on a lined baking sheet leaving 1-2 inches between each donut & the sides. you’re going to let your doughnuts rise for another 30-45 minutes. cut the parchment paper with your donuts on top into squares. ( see the video for visual ). place donut into oil and take the parchment paper out. ( this is super important because messing with the donut too much can result in misshaped donuts & flat ones. so don’t try to pry the donut off the parchment ) fry on both sides until golden brown and take out and place on a drying rack. cinnamon sugar topping: 1/2 cup granulated sugar(100g) 1 1/2 - 2 tsp cinnamon (6-8g) mix and coat your donuts, enjoyyy!! #pumpkin #donuts #Recipe #fallbaking #baking
