I canceled my subscription to the Tucker Carlson Network when he made the comment about opioids. He has a huge platform & could have help us. I also reached out to him after he had his back surgery & happily took the opioids. He is a hypocrite.

If you can get gabapentin you won’t withdrawal from klonipan. That’s what it did for me. I still take klonipan for rare emergencies like flying or an mri but the gaba replaced it as a daily maintenance drug. I can explain the science behind why if needed

They want people to take their lives. I was on Ativan 1.0 mg for many years. Now my doctor will only prescribe Citalopram (Celexa) which makes me so physically sick I can’t stand it. Plus it takes at least 3 weeks to work. Ativan worked immediately and I’d take only as needed. These doctors are not here to help us.

I cant get my doctor to listen to me- I'd accept a dementia diagnosis in the future if I didnt have to live in hell every day- I'm having anxiety its really hard to cope with whatsoever.

27 years on the same dose Ativan 1 mg x 2/day PRN. I go extended periods without taking it but it is the only thing that works for my insomnia.

What ever happened to weighing benefit over risk? Oh! I know! Drs started weighing benefit over risk when it comes to THEIR ( fear) risk !!! NOT the patients. What happened to TO DO NO HARM 1st?!?! Killing patients via medical neglect is absolutely not Doing no harm1st or weighing benefit over risk TO THE PATIENT!!!!

Our health"care" system would have inspired the management at Camp Dachau. GABA agonists with long metabolic lifetimes effect long-term epigenetic change, and should either be tapered down over a year, or not at all in a stabilized long-term patient.
