@whitelion4christ: Never bow down to a woman and ask her to marry you—it’s not God’s order, it’s man’s tradition. In Scripture, the headship order is clear: “But I want you to understand that Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the head of a woman, and God is the head of Christ” (1 Corinthians 11:3). A man bows to God, not to woman. From the beginning, Adam fell because he “listened to the voice of [his] wife” over God’s command (Genesis 3:17). That opened the door for deception and judgment. Later, we see Jezebel manipulating Ahab (1 Kings 21) and destroying nations because the man refused to lead. Culture says “happy wife, happy life,” but the Word says the opposite: “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her” (Ephesians 5:25). Love is sacrifice, but not submission to sin or idolatry. True love leads, protects, and guides under Christ. Marriage is covenant. It’s not a man begging on one knee—it’s a man standing as the head, inviting a woman to join him under his covering as he follows Christ. A woman doesn’t need a simp or a slave—she needs a leader, a protector, a priest of the home who bows only to God Almighty. Brothers, reject the world’s counterfeit. Walk in your God-given authority, and sisters, honor that order.
